Vampire Academy Short Summary;-
Rose Hathaway is a dhampir, half-vampire and half-human, who is training to be a guardian at St Vladimir's Academy along with many others like her. There are good and bad vampires in their world: Moroi, who co-exist peacefully among the humans and only take blood from donors, and also possess the ability to control one of the four elements - water, earth, fire or air; and Strigoi, blood-sucking, evil vampires who drink to kill. Rose and other dhampir guardians are trained to protect Moroi and kill Strigoi throughout their education. Along with her best friend, Princess Vasilisa Dragomir, a Moroi and the last of her line, with whom she has a nigh unbreakable bond, Rose must run away from St Vladimir's, in order to protect Lissa from those who wish to harm the princess and use her for their own means.

Role of the characters:-
Rosemarie "Rose" Hathaway is a Dhampir and the protagonist of the Vampire Academy series. She is a Guardian-in-training and later a Guardian, whose charge is her best friend Lissa Dragomir. At age fifteen she was brought back from the dead by Lissa, a spirit user, causing her to be shadow-kissed and to share a one-way bond with Lissa.
In Vampire Academy the antagonists are Victor Dashkov. A Prince who have became the King of Moroi vampires and the Damphir guardian. But now he has a serious disease that will kill him. He wants to use Lissa's power to heal him from his sickness.
Conflict And Character development:-

Victor Dishkov tortures Lissa and uses her power to heal him which is against their laws.
Character Development:-
Rose is becaming a better guardian because she is training more and harder so she can protect Princess Vasilisa "Lissa". She is beginning to understand the bond she share with Lissa.
NB:-
Rose she became stronger, better guardian and better person and grows up and became responsible for her actions and responsibilities.
